Enter the amount, the currency and the date the money reached the account.
Why the settlement date specifically
FOP income is counted at the NBU rate for the date the currency reached the account. Not the date you sold it at the bank, and not the date the earning was accrued on the platform. That is why the same thousand dollars on different days gives a different income in hryvnias — and why figures most often diverge from your accountant's.
If the date falls on a weekend or a holiday, the NBU publishes no rate — we take the nearest preceding published one, exactly as the app itself does.
The rate comes from the NBU's open data. This is reference information, not tax advice.
So you do not convert every payment by hand
Gignal applies the rate to each transaction by its own credit date, not one date for the whole quarter. Connect Upwork or upload a CSV — and every payment shows up with its rate.
